"To be truly radical is to make hope possible rather than despair convincing."

This is a digital archive of our writing. While many of our essays are political in nature, they tend to take on the style of a personal essay, which means they're usually a bit more flowery and prose-like and not so strictly informational. Some read like an excerpt from a memoir, while others exude whatever feral, chaotic, ADHD-fueled bullshit we were on at the time. All of them come directly from our overly sentimental, mentally ill brain — the only real constant despite our ever-changing interests.

Keep in mind that many of these were written by our previous host, who did not know about our DID at the time of writing. This means, if you read chronologically (everything is listed newest to oldest), you may notice a shift from the use of singular pronouns like I, my, me to plural language like we and our. These days, we use singular pronouns to refer to ourselves as individuals within the system and plural pronouns to refer to the collective and/or our body.

Much of our work is dedicated to deconstructing fundamentalism, exploring the depths of the human experience, and contemplating our place among the cosmos — often through the lens of our experiences with abuse, mental illness, and disability. Please be warned that we write a lot of heavy shit, but we also do our best to provide glimmers of hope alongside the heartache.

Ultimately, we're just tryin' to fuckin' figure it out (whatever that means), and we hope you'll come along for the ride.

NOTE: THIS PAGE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION! We're slowly adding our essays in here and trying to get organized. Until it's all finished, though, you can read our stuff over on Substack if you'd like.
